Find Your Health Plan - Plan Discovery and Comparison Experience
Find Your Health Plan was a complete redesign of Anthem's plan shopping experience. The application helped users compare medical, dental and vision coverage with clarity and confidence. As a Sr. Front-end Engineer, I helped architect and build interactive tools for plan comparison, doctor and prescription search, filtering, sorting and in-context plan management. The experience simplified complex healthcare decisions through clear UI, intelligent search and modular components.

Plan comparison tools
Built comparison views that let users evaluate medical, dental and vision plans side by side. These tools highlighted premiums, deductibles, out of pocket costs and coverage tiers to help individuals and families quickly understand their options.
Doctor and prescription search
Developed provider and medication search with predictive typing, radius and specialty filters and helpful UI cues. This feature made it easy for users to confirm provider availability and medication coverage before choosing a plan.
Filtering and sort options
Implemented flexible filters for plan type, recommendations, popularity and coverage options. Added sort tools for premium and deductible to help users surface the most relevant plans quickly.
Inline plan management (Bin)
Built the Bin feature, a tool that lets users manage members, providers and prescriptions without losing their place. It enabled quick edits in context and kept the shopping experience smooth and uninterrupted.
Reusable services and components
Created modular services and UI components used across the application. This ensured consistency, encapsulation and ease of maintenance and supported workflows like saving plans, editing members and reviewing plan details.
This project was a meaningful blend of user-centered design and technical complexity. Building tools that make health plan choices easier, while handling large datasets, dynamic filters and predictive search, was both challenging and rewarding.
